The Fifteenth Stated Meeting of the Savannah River Presbytery will be held at
Providence Presbyterian Church, Savannah, starting at 7:00 PM Friday July 20,
2007. Please see the included proposed docket for the meeting.

There will NOT be a meeting of Presbyterial (WIC).

I also enclose a letter from TE David Bradford as well as other information
concerning the church. Please call the church at 912-927-1117 in order to reserve
lunch on Saturday.

Dear fathers and brothers,

It gives me great pleasure to extend to you a warm invitation to Savannah River
Presbyteryís summer meeting in Savannah. Our members have been anticipating
your visit and now look forward to pouring out our hospitality.
Presbytery will begin Friday with a worship service at 7:00 p.m. The Lordís Supper
will be observed. No evening meal is provided, so make plans accordingly. The
Savannah Mallís food court (directly across the street from the church) offers a
wide variety of options.
A continental breakfast will provided on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. A catered
lunch will be served at $5.00 per person. Please make reservations by Wednesday,
July 18, by calling Providence at 912 927-1117 or by email to
[email protected] Rooms for committee meetings are available and a
copier and FAX will be available at your request. Wireless internet service is
available on the church campus.
Savannah has a wonderful historic district to visit, should you bring your family.
The website below is ideal for discovering opportunities in the district. This site
will also help you locate hotels and restaurants in the area. Under
Accommodations our neighborhood is considered "Southside".

There are fourteen motels at Exit 94 on I-95. This is called Savannah Gateway and
is eight miles South of the Churchís location. From the Gateway, follow Route 204
North into Southside Savannah. Route 204 becomes Abercorn Street, the main
Savannah artery.
Providence Church is located directly behind Savannah Mall (Target) on the corner
of Shawnee and Rio Road, across from the Rio Gate at Hunter Army Air Field. The
